Mizzou Youth Experience
On September 14th, Ozark Border was able to send two students from Easter Carter Middle School to the Mizzou Youth Experience. This program was created by Mizzou to bring the underserved and underrepresented youth of Missouri to the University for a tour of the school, a chance to have fun and play games with other kids from around the state and go to the Mizzou football game. It provides a great one day experience for kids that may not otherwise have the opportunity to tour the college, go to a game and see that going to college is an opportunity for everyone. The students joined dozens of peers from co-ops around the state. They enjoyed tailgating fun with the athletes, a t-shirt and a meal provided by the school.
